Sky of Gold
This summer in the month of July this Golden Scout will be launched in celebration of Vern and Gleda Estes 50Th. Anniversary for there contribution to the hobby of Model Rocketry. The Scout was the very first model rocket kit that Estes produced . Our 4-H Club Olympic Peninsula Rocketry is in the process of building six more of the Golden Scouts.

As you can see by the photo above four Golden Scouts were launched and recovered. All flights were launched using 1/2A6-2 motors.
